Free Email Marketing Templates and Worksheets

The briefs, checklists, and reports we work from, published so you can use them yourself or see exactly how the work is done.

These pages are the actual working documents behind this service. Each one started as an internal file — a brief, a workbook, a report, or a proposal — and has been published here because the content is useful to any small business owner, whether you do email marketing yourself or hand it to a provider.

The documents are deliberately plain. They are checklists and record-keeping forms, not marketing copy. That is the point: a campaign brief should capture facts, a monthly report should show data, and a proposal should state a scope. When the work is written down in this way, there is less guesswork on both sides.

You can copy the structure into your own notes, a document, or a spreadsheet. Nothing here depends on hiring us. If you do want the work done, these are the same documents we fill in for you.

Each template starts as a file in this site's repository. When a campaign begins, we duplicate the relevant file into a private workspace for that client and fill it in there. Completed client information, subscriber data, credentials, and approval records are never committed back to the public repository, and none of the pages on this site contain a real client's details.

The email platform stays the source of truth for reporting figures. The monthly results template says this explicitly: if the platform does not expose a metric reliably, the report says "not available" rather than estimating. The same rule applies everywhere on this site — we do not publish numbers we cannot source.

If you are about to have an email written — by us, by a freelancer, or in-house — start with the campaign brief. Most of what goes wrong in email marketing can be traced to a missing fact or an unapproved version.

If you are comparing providers or about to sign, read the service proposal template alongside our agency pricing guide so you can compare scopes rather than headline numbers.

If you already send and want to report on it honestly, use the monthly results template. If you are deciding whether to ask a writer for a sample, the sample email workbook shows what a useful sample depends on.

We are a new business and have no case studies or testimonials to show. These templates are not evidence of results and they make no promise about open rates, click rates, or revenue. They are working documents. The only figures that appear on these pages are our own published prices — $59 per month for the Lite plan, which works out to $29.50 per campaign.

Our guides cover the surrounding questions: how much email marketing costs, what agencies charge, and how to outsource email marketing without losing control.
